Towson beats Sacred Heart, 83-61
TOWSON, Md. -- William Adala Moto scored 16 points and added 13 rebounds to help lead Towson to an 83-61 win over Sacred Heart on Saturday.
Walter Foster finished with 15 points and Timajh Parker-Rivera and Mike Morsell each added 11 for the Tigers (6-3).
Towson has won five straight, including four at home, after a 1/3 start to the season.
The Tigers never trailed in the game, opening on a 20-7 stretch capped by a Jordan McNeil layup off an assist by Eddie Keith II. Keith tied for a game-high five assists with Sacred Heart's Cane Broome. Towson led 42-25 at halftime.
The Tigers lead never dipped below 10 points in the second half and reached as high as 25 after a McNeil jumper with 6:56 left.
Quincy McKnight led Sacred Heart (1-6) with a career-high 19 points. Jordan Allen had 16 points and eight boards.
