CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Patrick Wallace and Armel Potter scored 19 points apiece to lead five players in double figures as Charleston Southern cruised to a 107-74 win over National Christian College Athletic Association-member Columbia International on Monday night.
Javis Howard and Ugo Mmonu each added 14 points and Raemond Robinson scored 10 for Charleston Southern (4-6). Howard grabbed 12 rebounds and Mmonu had nine with three blocked shots. Wallace made 4 of 7 from 3-point range.
It was the Buccaneers' highest-scoring game since a 130-51 win over Johnson (Tenn.) on Nov. 8, 2013. Charleston Southern beat Columbia International 105-55 last season.
Charleston Southern opened the game with a 14-2 run and never trailed.
JC Cavin led Columbia International with 22 points on 9-of-11 shooting. Ben Johnson scored 17.
Charleston Southern outrebounded the Rams 45-26, including 24-7 on the offensive glass, and made five more free throws (18) than Columbia International attempted.
