BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Dedrick Basile scored a career-high 21 and Aly Ahmed had 16 points and a season-high 12 rebounds Monday night to lead Cal State Bakersfield past Dartmouth 69-62.
Brent Wrapp, Kevin Mays and Jaylin Airington scored 10 apiece for Bakersfield (6-3). Mays had nine rebounds while Wrapp finished with seven assists.
A 3-point play by Miles Wright put Dartmouth (3-5) up 33-32 early in the second half but the Big Green went scoreless for nearly seven minutes as the Roadrunners scored 19-straight points to make it 51-33 with 12:16 to play.
Dartmouth responded with an 18-5 run that cut its deficit to five about eight minutes later, but the Big Green would get no closer.
Evan Boudreaux made 1 of 2 free throws to make it 62-57 with 62 seconds left but Bakersfield made 5 of 6 free throws thereon to seal it.
Boudreaux led Dartmouth with 14 points and eight rebounds.
