BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Damiyne Durham scored 22 points, including 6 of 13 from 3-point range, and Cal State Bakersfield cruised to an 82-50 win over NAIA Menlo College on Saturday night.
Aly Ahmed finished with 13 points and seven rebounds and Kevin Mays added 12 points and eight boards for the Roadrunners (7-4), who have won four of their last five games.
Cal State Bakersfield held the Oaks to 35.4 percent shooting and forced 21 Menlo turnovers.
The Roadrunners opened on a 13-2 run, highlighted by a Justin Hollins dunk, and led 53-19 at halftime. Mays scored a 3-point play midway through the second half to push the lead to 37. Durham made his final 3 of the night with 1:37 left to make it 82-43, the largest lead of the night for Cal State Bakersfield.
Adam Griffin and Ryan Wilson had eight points for Menlo.
