UMass Lowell beats Maine in double overtime 108-95
BANGOR, Maine -- Matt Harris scored a career-high 33 points, including eight in a 21-point overtime outburst for UMass Lowell, and the River Hawks defeated Maine 108-95 on Thursday.
Harris hit a 3-point jumper with 20 seconds left and the game went to OT after Maine missed two shots. Harris hit another 3-pointer to begin overtime when the River Hawks (10-15, 6-6 American East) scored the first 14 points.
Harris was 10 of 15 from the floor, including a career-high seven 3-pointers. Logan Primerano hit all three of his 3-pointers in scoring 27 points, Jahad Thomas had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Isaac White added 12 points. The River Hawks shot 50 percent overall, 57 percent from the arc on a season-high 16 treys.
Aaron Calixte scored 19 points, Issac Vann and Till Gloger both had 18, Gloger on 7-of-9 shooting, with Shaun Lawton adding 13 for the Black Bears (8-17, 4-8).
