Robert Morris Colonials @ Fairleigh Dickinson Knights
Pryor leads Robert Morris over Fairleigh Dickinson 72-70
TEANECK, N.J. -- Rodney Pryor had 27 points and a career-high 14 rebounds and his floater with just over a minute remaining helped Robert Morris take a 72-70 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday night.
The loss dropped FDU (13-12, 9-5) into a four-way tie for the Northeast Conference lead while Robert Morris (8-19, 6-8) beat the Knights for the 17th consecutive time, including twice this season. That streak began on Jan. 10, 2008.
Mike Holloway's putback gave FDU a 69-67 lead with 2:29 to go. Billy Giles tied the game with a short jumper and Pryor gave the Colonials the lead after FDU's Marques Townes was called for traveling. Both teams made a free throw before the Knights worked the clocked down from 23 seconds, only to settle for a long 3-point attempt by Darian Anderson as time ran out.
Giles added 18 points for Robert Morris.
Anderson led FDU with 16 points.
