HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- Aurimas Majauskas scored 23 points and tied a career-high with 11 rebounds and Sam Houston State had no trouble dispatching Division-III LeTourneau 96-54 on Monday.

Majauskas was 8 of 11 from the floor and 7 of 7 from the line with four assists. Albert Almanza and Jovante Spivey both had career-highs with 15 points, Jamal Williams scored 12 points and Andre Sands added 10. Sam Houston State (4-5) shot over 48 percent and was 9 of 22 (40.9 percent) on 3-point attempts. They out-rebounded LeTourneau 51-32 and had 28 assists on 37 made baskets.

LeTourneau was led by Giovanny Thompson and Jeff Martin with 11 points apiece. The Yellow Jackets committed 17 turnovers, shot just 27 percent (15 of 55), and were 10 of 25 from beyond the arc.
