Chase Fischer answered with a 3-pointer, but after Kyle Dranginis went 1 of 2 at the stripe for Gonzaga with 17.5 seconds left, BYU missed a 3 and Josh Perkins sealed it at the line.
Freshman Nick Emery hit five 3-pointers and scored 27 points for BYU (23-10).
BYU trailed by as many as 10 in the first half, but Corbin Kaufusi's put-back dunk at the buzzer tied it at 47-all.
