Billingsley's career-best 29 paces Texas-San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO -- Nick Billingsley scored a career-high 29 points and Texas-San Antonio remained undefeated at home with an 88-69 win over Division II Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday.
The Roadrunners have won all three of their home games this season but are 0-7 on the road.
Billingsley finished 10 of 17 from the field and 6 of 12 from long range. Jeff Beverly added 19 points and 8 rebounds for UTSA, which shot 55 percent from the field and 54.2 percent from 3.
The Roadrunners began to pull away in the first half, building a 13-point advantage before settling for a 42-34 lead at the half. A Billingsley layup with 13:50 remaining pushed the UTSA lead back to 13, and his fifth 3-pointer made it 78-54 with 6:15 left, the Roadrunners largest lead of the day.
Gianpalo Riccio hit four 3-pointers for 16 points to lead Southeastern Oklahoma State.
