ELON, N.C. -- Stuckey Mosley scored 29 points with six 3-pointers and five assists and James Madison beat Elon 90-84 on Monday night in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Darius Banks added 18 points and three 3s and Matt Lewis scored 14, including eight free throws, for the Dukes (10-21, 6-12 Colonial Athletic Association), who hit 13 3-pointers and made 21 free throws.

Elon tied it at 72 on Dmitri Thompson's layup, but the Dukes led 84-77 on Lewis' free throw after a 10-5 run. Thompson dunked, Tyler Seibring hit two free throws, and Elon closed to 86-84 with 14 seconds left, but Lewis sealed it with four from the line.

James Madison hit eight 3s and finished on an 18-8 run for a 43-32 halftime lead.

Brian Dawkins scored 25 points with three 3s, Thompson added 16 points, Seibring had 15 with eight rebounds, and Steven Santa Ana scored 11 with six assists for the Phoenix (14-17, 6-12), who have lost six straight.
