NEW YORK -- Glenn Sanabria scored 23 points including the game-winning shot with 3.7 seconds left and St. Francis Brooklyn beat St. Francis of Pennsylvania 72-68 on Saturday.
Jamaal King scored five points and Keith Braxton added three during a 9-2 spurt for the Red Flash that tied the game at 68 with 27 seconds to play. Sanabria had possession with 10 seconds remaining then drove through three defenders and scored the go-ahead layup off the glass.
Braxton heaved a half-court 3-point attempt before Jalen Jordan added two free throws for the Terriers to end the game.
Sanabria's last bucket moved him past assistant coach Jamaal Womack for 18th all-time in career scoring (1,155) at St. Francis Brooklyn (10-7, 2-2 Northeast Conference). Rosel Hurley added 15 points and Jordan finished with 12 for the Terriers.
King scored 17 points to lead the Red Flash (6-9, 2-2), which swept the Terriers last season. Braxton added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
