PORTLAND, Ore. -- Lamar Hamrick came off the bench to tally 16 points to lift Portland State to a 69-65 win over Northern Colorado on Saturday.
It was the first Big Sky Conference matchup of the season for both teams.
Holland Woods had 15 points and six assists for Portland State (7-6, 1-0 Big Sky Conference). Matt Hauser added 11 points. Sal Nuhu had 10 points and six rebounds for the home team.
Bodie Hume had 22 points for the Bears (7-5, 0-1), whose four-game winning streak was snapped. Jonah Radebaugh added 14 points, nine assists and seven rebounds. Sam Masten had 11 points.
Portland State plays Southern Utah at home on Monday. Northern Colorado takes on Montana State at home on Thursday.
