Thomas also contributed six rebounds and four steals for the Great Danes (8-6). Jonathan Beagle scored 21 points while going 8 of 11 and 5 of 6 from the free throw line, and added 12 rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Amar'e Marshall was 3 of 10 shooting and 6 of 9 from the free throw line to finish with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Sharks (1-11) were led by Tai Strickland, who posted 27 points and seven steals. Eric Acker added 10 points and five assists for LIU. Jason Steele also had nine points and two steals. The loss was the Sharks' seventh straight.
