HOUSTON -- — Marcus Greene hit the winning 3-pointer with one second remaining and Houston Christian beat Lamar 78-77 on Saturday night.
Greene scored 22 points and his off-balance, step-back 3-pointer won it for the Huskies. Dominic Capriotti scored 16 points, shooting 5 for 10, including 5 for 8 from beyond the arc. Michael Imariagbe shot 4 of 5 from the field and 5 for 6 from the line to finish with 13 points, while adding 11 rebounds.
The Cardinals (9-9, 3-2) were led by Chris Pryor, who posted 18 points and four steals. Cody Pennebaker added 15 points for Lamar. Adam Hamilton also had nine points and eight rebounds.
