Dorsey's 27 lead William & Mary past UMBC 96-81
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- — Gabe Dorsey had 27 points in William & Mary's 96-81 win against UMBC on Saturday.
Dorsey shot 8 for 15 (6 for 12 from 3-point range) and 5 of 5 from the free-throw line for the Tribe (3-4). Chase Lowe scored 22 points and added seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Trey Moss had 17 points.
The Retrievers (3-4) were led by Khydarius Smith, who posted 20 points and two blocks. Dion Brown added 18 points and two steals for UMBC. Marcus Banks Jr. and Devan Sapp put up 15 points apiece.
