Tennessee State takes down SE Louisiana 91-77

DESTIN, Fla. -- — EJ Bellinger's 18 points helped Tennessee State defeat SE Louisiana 91-77 on Saturday at the Emerald Coast Classic.

Bellinger shot 6 for 11 (3 for 5 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line for the Tigers (5-2). Christian Brown scored 18 points, shooting 4 for 6 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 9 of 9 from the free-throw line. Kinyon Hodges was 7-of-12 shooting (1 for 4 from 3-point range) to finish with 15 points.

The Lions (1-5) were led by Roger McFarlane, who recorded 20 points. Nick Caldwell added nine points and two blocks for SE Louisiana. In addition, Roscoe Eastmond had eight points, six assists and two steals.
