ROCK HILL, S.C. -- — KJ Doucet scored 21 points as Winthrop beat Queens 88-82 on Tuesday night.
Doucet was 6 of 12 shooting, including 2 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 7 for 8 from the line for the Eagles (7-3). Kasen Harrison scored 17 points, going 6 of 13 from the floor, including 0 for 3 from 3-point range, and 5 for 8 from the line. Alex Timmerman shot 5 of 9 from the field and 4 for 5 from the line to finish with 14 points.
AJ McKee finished with 23 points for the Royals (5-5). Deyton Albury added 20 points, seven assists, four steals and two blocks for Queens. BJ McLaurin also had 16 points and 10 rebounds.
