COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- — Josiah Davis and Rodney Johnson Jr. each scored 19 points to lead Tennessee Tech over Tennessee State 70-50 on Tuesday night.
Davis also added eight rebounds for the Golden Eagles (9-17, 4-9 Ohio Valley Conference). Johnson shot 7 for 13 (1 for 3 from 3-point range) and 4 of 4 from the free-throw line. Diante Wood added 10 points.
Christian Brown led the Tigers (15-11, 8-5) in scoring, finishing with 16 points. Jason Jitoboh added 11 points and 10 rebounds for Tennessee State. Kinyon Hodges also had eight points, eight rebounds and two steals.
