Seymour's 20 lead East Tennessee State past Mercer 54-49
MACON, Ga. -- — Jaden Seymour's 20 points helped East Tennessee State defeat Mercer 54-49 on Wednesday night.
Seymour added six rebounds for the Buccaneers (11-11, 3-6 Southern Conference). Ebby Asamoah added 14 points while shooting 5 for 11, including 4 for 8 from beyond the arc, and he also had six rebounds. Karon Boyd and Quimari Peterson scored six points apiece and combined for 11 rebounds.
The Bears (9-13, 2-7) were led in scoring by David Thomas, who finished with 13 points. Mercer also got nine points and two steals from Jalen Cobb. In addition, Jake Davis had eight points, six rebounds and two steals.
