MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- — Derrick Butler scored 24 points and Central Michigan beat Western Michigan 69-42 on Saturday night.
Butler also contributed nine rebounds for the Chippewas (15-10, 9-3 Mid-American Conference). Markus Harding scored 15 points and added seven rebounds. Brian Taylor went 5 of 6 from the field to finish with 13 points.
B. Artis White finished with 12 points and three steals for the Broncos (8-17, 5-7). Jefferson Monegro added eight points for Western Michigan. The loss is the sixth in a row for the Broncos.
