PHILADELPHIA -- — Anwar Gill had 21 points in La Salle's 81-62 victory against Coppin State on Sunday.
Gill added nine rebounds for the Explorers (5-1). Khalil Brantley scored 15 points and added five rebounds and six assists. Jhamir Brickus was 4 of 10 shooting, including 3 for 7 from 3-point range, and went 3 for 5 from the line to finish with 14 points, while adding six assists and four steals.
Greg Spurlock finished with 15 points for the Eagles (0-7). Camaren Sparrrow added 14 points for Coppin State. Zahree Harrison also had 14 points. The loss is the seventh in a row for the Eagles.
