SAN DIEGO -- — Jaedon LeDee scored 23 points to guide San Diego State to an 81-70 victory over New Mexico on Friday night.
LeDee made 7 of 10 shots with a 3-pointer and 8 of 11 free throws, adding four steals for the Aztecs (20-6, 9-4 Mountain West Conference). Lamont Butler had 13 points and three steals. Elijah Saunders came off the bench to score 12.
Jaelen House finished with 22 points and four steals to pace the Lobos (20-6, 8-5), who trailed 39-28 at halftime. Freshman JT Toppin scored 18 on 7-for-10 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds. Donovan Dent added 11 points and reserve Mustapha Amzil pitched in with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
