NEWARK, Del. -- — Jyare Davis scored 19 points as Delaware beat Northeastern 73-67 on Thursday night.
Davis also had nine rebounds for the Fightin' Blue Hens (18-12, 10-7 Coastal Athletic Association). Niels Lane scored 16 points while shooting 6 of 11 from the field and 4 for 4 from the line. Gerald Drumgoole Jr. was 3 of 14 shooting, including 3 for 9 from 3-point range, and went 2 for 4 from the line to finish with 11 points, while adding seven rebounds.
Harold Woods led the Huskies (12-18, 7-10) in scoring, finishing with 20 points, nine rebounds and two steals. Northeastern also got 17 points, nine rebounds and four blocks from Chris Doherty. Rashad King also had 11 points and three steals.
