DENTON, Texas -- — Jason Edwards' 37 points led North Texas over Tulane 70-56 on Saturday.
Edwards was 10 of 15 shooting, including 8 for 10 from 3-point range, and went 9 for 11 from the line for the Mean Green (9-5, 2-0 American Athletic Conference). C.J. Noland scored 14 points, shooting 4 for 13 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 5 of 8 from the free throw line. Aaron Scott scored 10 points and had 12 rebounds.
