Broken nose can't slow Scherzer in win over Phils

A day after breaking his nose when he bunted a ball off his face in batting practice, Nationals ace Max Scherzer threw seven shutout innings Wednesday night in a 2-0 win over the Phillies that completed a sweep of the day-night doubleheader.
