Nineteen-year-old lightweight Sage Northcutt will make his second UFC appearance on Dec. 10, as he's been slated to fight Cody Pfister in Las Vegas.
UFC officials announced the 155-pound bout on Monday. The UFC Fight Night event is scheduled to take place at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan and air on UFC Fight Pass.
Another highly touted UFC prospect, 21-year-old bantamweight Paige VanZant (6-1) will headline the card opposite Joanne Calderwood (10-1).
Northcutt (6-0) made his Octagon debut earlier this month at UFC 192 in Houston. The Katy, Texas, native made quick work of an overmatched Francisco Trevino, earning a 57-second TKO finish. A student at Texas A&M University, Northcutt has finished all six of his professional fights, including five within the first round.
The teenager continues to train out of Texas but recently spent time at Tristar MMA in Montreal.
Pfister (12-4-1) is 1-1 so far in the UFC. He suffered a submission loss to James Moontasri in his UFC debut in February before bouncing back with a decision win against Yosdenis Cedeno in July. He has seven finishes in his career.
