Lightweight Sage Northcutt has been booked against Enrique Marin at UFC 200 on July 9 in Las Vegas.
UFC officials confirmed the 155-pound bout to ESPN on Thursday, following an initial report by GQ Magazine. UFC 200 will take place at T-Mobile Arena.
Northcutt (7-1) is coming off the first loss of his career, a second-round submission to Bryan Barberena in January. The 20-year-old prospect agreed to fight Barberena in a welterweight bout, after his original lightweight opponent withdrew because of injury shortly before the event.
Fighting out of Katy, Texas, Northcutt burst onto the scene last year with finishes against Francisco Trevino and Cody Pfister. He is also associated with Tristar MMA in Montreal.
Marin (8-3) is coming off a split decision loss to Erick Montano in November, in what was the Spaniard's UFC debut. Five of his eight career wins have come via submission.
A welterweight rematch between Conor McGregor (19-3) and Nate Diaz (19-10) will headline UFC 200.
