Professional mixed martial arts promotion World Series of Fighting has officially booked a fight between adopted brothers Ben and Caros Fodor on July 30 in Everett, Washington.
The bout will take place at WSOF 32 inside Xfinity Arena. A featherweight title rematch between Alexandre Almeida and Lance Palmer will headline the televised event.
Ben Fodor (6-1) is better known by the name of his alter ego Phoenix Jones, a real-life "superhero" combating crime in Seattle. Fodor, 27, has made a name for himself for dressing up in a black costume and patrolling the Seattle area in search of crime. He was arrested in 2011 after using pepper spray on several people he claimed were fighting. All charges were eventually dismissed.
Caros Fodor (10-5), who is five years older than Ben, is the more accomplished fighter of the two. He has made appearances in the UFC, Strikeforce and ONE Championship. He has seven finishes in 10 professional bouts.
Both brothers have spoken openly in the past about a potential fight. For Ben Fodor, it will mark his first appearance of 2016.
