Bellator MMA light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary will defend his title against Phil Davis at Bellator 163 on Nov. 4 in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Bellator officials announced the 205-pound title fight on Friday. The event will air on Spike TV from Mohegan Sun Arena.
McGeary (11-0) hasn't fought since he successfully defended the title against Tito Ortiz at Bellator 142 in September 2015. Originally from England, McGeary is a perfect 8-0 under the Bellator banner, including seven finishes.
The 33-year-old won the belt by defeating Emanuel Newton via five-round decision in February 2015.
Davis (16-3) is coming off a decision win against Muhammed Lawal at Bellator 154 in May. A former UFC veteran, Davis made his Bellator debut in late 2015, defeating Newton and Francis Carmont in the same night as part of a light heavyweight tournament.
Per Bellator officials, a welterweight fight between Saad Awad (19-8) and Brennan Ward (13-4) and a featherweight bout featuring Marloes Coenen (23-7) against Talita Nogueira (6-0) will round out the card.
