Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jirí Procházka will return to action for the second time this year, in a five-round main event at UFC Fight Night in November.
Prochazka (32-6-1) will face rising contender Navajo Stirling (11-0) on Nov. 21 inside ABHA Arena in Doha, Qatar. The UFC Fight Night will mark the promotion's second trip to the region of Qatar.
Fighting out of Czechia, Prochazka hasn't fought since he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Carlos Ulberg in their 205-pound title fight in April. The loss was especially demoralizing for Prochazka, as Ulberg suffered an obvious knee injury in the opening moments of the bout, but still managed to knock Prochazka unconscious on one good leg. Ulberg underwent surgery for a torn ACL and is out the rest of the year.
Prochazka is not the only former champion competing at UFC Fight Night. In the co-main event, former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling (26-5) will face 24-year-old Kevin Vallejos (18-1) in a featherweight contest. If Sterling wins, he could potentially solidify his first 145-pound title shot. Sterling, 37, is 3-2 since moving up from the bantamweight division in 2024.
Two-time featherweight title challenger Brian Ortega (16-5) is scheduled to face Dan Hooker (24-15) on the main card, and former flyweight title challenger Kyoji Horiguchi (36-6) will face Asu Almabayev (24-3).
