News: 2 days agoReaves recorded 28 points (10-18 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and seven assists across 25 minutes in Tuesday's 101-89 preseason loss against Golden State.
Spin: Reaves delivered an impressive offensive performance, leading the Lakers in scoring while shooting efficiently from beyond the arc with Luka Doncic taking the night off for rest. The veteran guard looks to be in midseason form ahead of Opening Night.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Reaves made a star leap last season, proving that he had the capacity to produce major numbers when given the opportunity to. With LeBron James no longer on the Lakers' roster, Reaves now slots as the full-time second option on the team behind Luka Doncic with major upside whenever Doncic is out of the lineup. In four games when both Doncic and James were out of the lineup last season, Reaves averaged a whopping 39.0 PPG and 9.5 APG.
