Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 5 days agoMiller (leg) is listed as out for Tuesday's preseason game versus the Nets.
Spin: Miller suffered a shin contusion during Tuesday's practice. Although there haven't been further details, his absence against the Nets is likely precautionary. The 23-year-old ended the 2025-26 campaign by averaging 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 steals while shooting a career-high 38.3 percent from deep over 30.3 minutes per contest in 65 regular-season games.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Miller's third season was almost a carbon copy of his second on a per-game basis, but he played in more than twice as many games (65) as the season before (27). He, along with sophomore Kon Knueppel, are the two primary scoring options for the Hornets and could get more volume this season after the departure of Lamelo Ball. Ball was the point guard as well, though, so his loss could also mean lower quality shots and those lower scoring efficiency.
