- The 1983 76ers went 12-1 in the playoffs on their way to the NBA title. That was the second-best playoff win percentage in history. Only the 2001 Lakers at 16-1 had a better playoff record.
- Allen Iverson had 10 steals on May 13, 1999, against Orlando, for the most steals in a game in postseason history.
- The Sixers franchise won its first NBA title as the Syracuse Nationals in the 1954-55 season.
