The Orlando Magic on Wednesday traded reserve point guard Luke Ridnour to Memphis for the rights to forward Janis Timma.
Timma, a 6-foot-7 Latvian, was drafted by Memphis 30th overall in the 2013 NBA draft. He has yet to play a regular-season NBA game and currently plays in Europe.
The 34-year-old Ridnour averaged 4.0 points and 2.0 assists while playing 47 games for the Magic last season.
The 14th overall pick in the 2003 draft, Ridnour is now joining his sixth NBA team. He has career averages of 9.3 points, 4.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game.
