Good news for Atlanta Hawks fans: Kent Bazmore isn't going anywhere for the foreseeable future. Last week, the 27-year-old decided to take less money and re-sign with the Hawks for four years and $70 million, and now he's telling us why.
On Wednesday, Bazemore took out a full-page ad in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution to express his gratitude to the fans and the city of Atlanta.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Bazemore turned down offers from the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers to stay with the Hawks. In 75 games last season, Bazemore averaged 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds and helped the Hawks reach the Eastern Conference semifinals, where they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
