Milwaukee Bucks forward John Henson is expected to be sidelined for approximately a week with a left thumb sprain, a league source told ESPN.
Henson, 26, sustained the injury at some point during the team's 93-90 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday and missed the next two games. If the 6-foot-11 forward were to be absent for exactly a week, that would give him six games to play in before the regular season concludes.
With a record of 37-35, the Bucks are currently in the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
On the season, Henson is averaging 6.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.
