It will be clearer than ever this season that the Charlotte Hornets are Michael Jordan's team.
The Hornets unveiled new white and teal jerseys today -- the latest in a series of team reveals connected to the NBA's new uniform contract with Nike. But while the league's other 29 teams will wear the Nike logo on their jerseys and shorts, the Hornets will wear the Jordan Brand's "Jumpman" logo -- a nod to Jordan's status at the team's owner.
The new white and teal uniforms -- which, in keeping with the league's new uniform protocol, can both be worn either at home or on the road -- are extremely similar to last season's designs. The changes for the white uniform, aside from the addition of the Jordan logo, are as follows:
• The collar trim, which had been striped, is now solid.
• The stripes running down the left side of the uniform are now narrower.
• A secondary logo has been added to the sides of the shorts.

Those same three tweaks have also been made to the teal uniform, which has received one additional change: The chest lettering, which had read, "Charlotte," will now feature the team name.
