The Denver Nuggets waived guard Nick Young on Sunday after signing him earlier this month.
Young appeared in four games with the Nuggets, averaging 2.3 points per game.
Young, 33, played 80 games last season with the champion Golden State Warriors but had remained unsigned since becoming a free agent before joining the Nuggets on Dec. 10.
Young has averaged 11.4 points per game over parts of 12 seasons with six different teams.
