The Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James will face off against the Miami Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals, which begin Wednesday on ABC at 9 p.m. ET. James, who heads back to the Finals for the first time since 2018, is a three-time Finals MVP who won back-to-back titles with the Heat in 2012 and 2013. This will be James' 10th Finals appearance, but first against a former team. It is the Los Angeles Lakers' first Finals appearance since 2010.
The Heat return to the Finals for the first time since 2014, the year James left in free agency. Both the Lakers and the Heat missed the playoffs last season.
