What's old is new again -- at least in case of the Phoenix Suns' court design for the 2016-17 season.
The team tweeted the new design plan for the playing surface at Talking Stick Resort Arena on Tuesday, with the addition of a purple border as the only major change. In a team news release, the organization shared that the design otherwise remains the same from last season.

As some Suns fans will remember, the purple border around the court is nothing new. The colorful edging framed the hardwood from 1968, the year of the team's inception, through the 1999-2000 season.
New court border, a few new players ... will it all lead to a new and improved Phoenix team? Fingers crossed for you, Suns.
