Graduation season is upon us. And this year, the Charlotte Hornets have one of their own to congratulate.
Cody Zeller, who left Indiana University after two years to enter the NBA, recently completed his undergraduate studies and received a bachelor's degree in business management on Friday.
Zeller has been taking online classes from IU ever since leaving the school in 2013 to be the No. 4 overall pick in the NBA draft. Typically, he would take one class at a time but sometimes double up on his workload during the summer (seeing as the summer is the offseason for his day job).

His hard work paid off. It might have taken him longer than the typical four-year timeline, but Zeller can be proud of completing his undergrad years with a 3.5 GPA.
"I made progress, slowly but steadily," Zeller said in a recent phone interview with the Charlotte Observer. "I did a lot of work in hotel rooms on the road."
