A $155 million price tag comes with a ton of expectation. But Masahiro Tanaka made it seem like a bargain in his much-ballyhooed first season in pinstripes, posting a 13-5 record with a 1.06 WHIP and fanning 141 hitters over 136 1/3 innings of work. Not bad for a third starter -- right, Brian Cashman?
