On Sunday, Oct. 16, 1966, Earl Morrall found Aaron Thomas in the end zone in the fourth quarter to defeat Washington at Yankee Stadium 13-10. It would be the lone win of the worst season in Big Blue history, as the team surrendered 501 points, an NFL record for a 14-game season, including 72 to that same Redskins team later in the year. The Giants would finish 1-12-1, and, as you might have guessed, in last place.
