News: 13 hours agoBateman is facing three charges stemming from a domestic incident in June, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Spin: The Ravens released a statement Friday: "We are aware of the situation involving Rashod and have been in direct communication with him. We notified the league office and have been cooperating throughout the process. As this is a pending legal matter, we will not have further comment." The NFL likely won't levy any sort of punishment on Bateman until the legal process plays itself out.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Bateman is entering his sixth season in Baltimore following an injury-plagued 2025 campaign in which he was limited to a career-low 224 receiving yards in 13 games. After scoring nine touchdowns on only 45 receptions in 2024, Bateman had "regression" written all over him entering last season, but it was worse than expected. The 2021 first-round pick saw his target share fall from 15.4% to a career-low 11.4% and his only double-digit fantasy effort came in Week 3. The 26-year-old remains second on Baltimore's depth chart behind Zay Flowers, but even in a new scheme and with a healthy Lamar Jackson under center, he's unlikely to produce his first top-35 fantasy campaign. Bateman isn't the most appealing late-round draft pick.
