News: 2 days agoWhite is being traded from San Francisco to New Orleans on Sunday in exchange for linebacker Deion Jones, per sources, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Spin: White signed with San Francisco on Aug. 12 and is moving to New Orleans in a trade less than two weeks later. The 2022 fourth-round pick of the Raiders rushed for 451 yards in the 2023 regular season, but he compiled only 285 yards across three other campaigns. The Saints are banged up in the backfield, with Alvin Kamara (knee), Devin Neal (hamstring) and Audric Estime (ankle) all sidelined, leaving the oft-injured Kendre Miller as the top healthy backup to Travis Etienne prior to White's arrival.
