Spin: Kacmarek practiced in full Monday, though his limited participation Wednesday is not an encouraging sign heading into the Week 1 meeting with Las Vegas. The 2026 No. 87 overall pick appeared in 14 games for Ohio State in 2025, totaling 15 catches for 168 yards and two touchdowns.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Kacmarek was selected by the Dolphins in the third round of April's draft. Kacmarek is a massive, strong blocking tight end who won't see much receiving work in the pros. He's likely to play a lot of snap as a rookie considering Miami's shaky roster, but Greg Dulcich is expected to operate as the team's top pass-catcher at the tight end position. Kacmarek is no more than the deepest of deep sleepers.
