ESPN Fantasy Projection: Ekholm appeared in all 82 games last season for the first time in nearly a decade. He topped the 40-point plateau (41) for the second time in three seasons, while his plus-32 rating was once again outstanding. The veteran Swede continues to see virtually no time with the man advantage (three points), while his hit (65) and blocked-shot (125) totals are middling for a guy that has averaged north of 20:00 per game every season for the past 11 years. Ekholm is going to get his fair share of secondary points playing on a team with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, but he's hardly a safe fantasy bet year-over-year outside of plus/minus.
