Spin: Point saw a decrease in production during the 2025-26 campaign, recording 18 goals, 32 assists, 23 blocked shots, 14 PIM and eight hits while averaging 18:15 of ice time across 63 regular-season appearances. He dealt with a pair of injuries last year and will attempt to bounce back this season while maintaining a top-six role for Tampa Bay.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Point is fresh off one of the worst seasons of his NHL career and there are a few reasons why. For starters, he missed 19 games due to injury. He managed just 18 goals and 50 points in 63 games, with his struggles primarily driven by a 14 percent shooting percentage, the lowest mark of his career and more than eight points lower than the prior year. Point also saw his production with the man advantage crater, as he managed just 11 power-play points on the heels of three straight seasons with 30-plus points a man up. He won't turn 31 years old until next March, so Point should have plenty of gas left in the tank. If he's available at any sort of discount on draft day, fantasy owners should likely pounce given Point's stellar track record.
