ESPN Fantasy Projection: Sergachev continues to be one of the best and most underrated defenders in the league from both a real-life and fantasy perspective. He appeared in 78 games in his second season in Utah, racking up 10 goals, 59 points, and a career-high 159 shots on goal. Sergachev's 26 power-play points tied him with Pittsburgh's Erik Karlsson and Tampa's Darren Raddysh for sixth-most amongst rearguards. He has also posted 120-plus blocks in four of the past five seasons. Set to play the entirety of the upcoming campaign at 28 years old, Sergachev is a low-end No. 1 fantasy defenseman in all formats heading into 2026-27.
