News: 4 days agoLankinen made 31 saves in a 4-2 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday.
Spin: The ice was tilted at Lankinen, as his counterpart, Tampa Bay's Dennis Hildeby, faced just 14 shots at the other end. Lankien was the game's third star, but it's been a rough start to the 2026-27 campaign. The beleaguered netminder won a wild contest over the Oilers on Opening Night, but now he's on a six-game losing streak. He has a 6.40 GAA and an .807 save percentage this season. Vancouver makes it tough on its goaltenders, but Lankinen isn't currently worth a roster spot.
